At the time of the accident, Dan was survived by his best friend and wife of 37 years, Kathleen; sister, Carol Butler; brother, Tim Hill; sister-in-law, Darlene Hill; sons, Dan (Sarah) Hill Jr., and Gabe (Fiancée Nicole) Hill; and grandson, Jack.

Since Dan’s passing, Sarah and Dan have had three additional children; Max, Sydney and Quin.  Gabe and Nicole were married and enjoy their two special dogs, Ella and Simon.
